Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast-growing family-owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry.  We operate at over 31 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of England and East Anglia.

Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based at our Hullerhill site.  The successful candidates will be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all duties are carried out to Company Health and Safety Policy and Guidelines.
• Fault diagnosis and repair of all production plant and equipment.
• Carryout weekly/monthly maintenance inspections as per company policy.
• Carryout preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment as required.
• Assist with new site projects and installations.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU

• Experience working in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Experience in a wide range of production plant and equipment.
• Qualified in all aspects of Mechanical Maintenance, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding and fabrication.
• Excellent Communication skills – able to communicate effectively to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills – can identify the problem and generate a solution in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Flexible approach to work and working hours – able to go that extra mile when required and revise approach to meet operational requirements.
• Driving license essential.
• Electrical knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
