Enhanced One Coat

TQ Rend One Coat is a British Board of Agrément (BBA) approved, high-performance, cement-based, polymer-modified, through-coloured render.

Designed for single-coat application by spray or hand, it delivers a durable, breathable, and low- maintenance finish with excellent adhesion and workability. The through-coloured formulation provides a consistent, attractive appearance available in a range of colours, ensuring long-lasting performance and visual appeal in one coat.

APPLICATION Instructions

For spray application, apply the render in a single continuous operation using an 8–12 mm nozzle, ensuring a uniform layer and levelling immediately with a straight edge, trowel, or float, to achieve a total thickness of 16 mm.

When applied by hand, TQ Rend One Coat should be built up
in two passes to achieve a total thickness of 16 mm. The first pass should be applied to establish the initial layer, allowing it to stiffen sufficiently before applying the second pass to reach the full required thickness.

For dry dash finishes, washed aggregate must be applied while the render remains plastic and tamped lightly to ensure full embedment. Where additional resistance to substrate movement or stress is required, fibre-reinforcing mesh can be incorporated within the initial coat at the appropriate depth.

Product Specifications

  • The advanced fibre reinforcement provides excellent tensile strength and enhanced resistance to cracking, ensuring a stable and long-lasting base for subsequent finishes.
  •  Requires only the addition of clean water and approximately five minutes of mixing to achieve the desired consistency.
  • Can be applied manually or by spray, offering flexibility and ease of use across various site conditions.
  • Ideal for brickwork, blockwork, concrete, and existing render substrates, it provides a stable and reliable foundation for final finishes.
  • Engineered to provide superior durability, workability, and long-lasting visual appeal across a wide variety of construction applications.
