Tillicoultry Quarries Are Proud To Achieve New ISO Certifications

We are pleased to announce the achievement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, reinforcing our commitment to the highest standards in Health, Safety & Environmental management. These certifications complement the ISO 9001 Quality Management certification already held by the business, demonstrating a robust and fully Integrated Management System.

This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of all Tillicoultry Quarries’ operational teams. The process was driven and coordinated by Shona Syme, IMS Manager, who worked closely with all departments to conduct a comprehensive review of standards, processes, procedures, and requirements to ensure consistency and compliance across the business. Shona was supported throughout by the Health, Safety & Environment team.

To support the seamless integration of these management systems, an internal platform has been introduced, providing access to all relevant documentation across all sites. This structured approach ensures standardisation and consistency, enhances communication internally and externally, improves training and awareness for employees, reduces risks, increases profitability, and fosters a culture of continual improvement.

Additionally, these certifications have been extended to our Mortars and Renders business, further demonstrating Tillicoultry Quarries’ dedication to operational excellence and best practices across the Group.

Scott McDonald, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, commented, “Achieving these certifications is a testament to the hard work, focus, and commitment of all the Tillicoultry Quarries team. We are committed to continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards across the business.”

We remain dedicated to enhancing these standards, ensuring ongoing compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence.
