THE ROLE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Quarry Operative based at our Hard Rock Quarry, Northfield (FK6 6RB).  The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment.

 

Our hard rock units supply all our asphalt plants and concrete plants making us self-sufficient for feed material.  We also supply both deliveries and uplifts of single size aggregate, fill materials and washed/recycled material.  We pride ourself on both service and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintaining a high standard of health and safety measures on site.
  • Assist current team with day to day running of crushing & screening plants.
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards.
  • General day to day maintenance on site.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Be prepared to progress and develop within our business through training and gaining qualifications.

  • Willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business, and has a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Be in possession of a full driving license.
