THE ROLE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Weighbridge Operative based at our Northfield Site, Denny FK6 6RB.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operating the weighbridge, matching and filing weighbridge tickets,
  • Dealing with general customer enquiries, i.e., orders, deliveries,
  • Assist with scheduling in line with customer delivery requirements,
  • Ship and coordinate trucks to ensure best truck optimisation,
  • General office administration, filing, data input, checking and responding to emails.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU
    • Be prepared to progress and develop within our business through training and gaining qualifications,
    • A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment,
    • Willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business, and has a flexible approach to working hours,
    • Be in possession of a full driving license,
    • Have a polite, professional and courteous approach to dealing with customers,
    • Ability to work as part of a team and individually as required,
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills,
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
    • IT Skills – Word, Excel, Outlook.
